ShadowSaver is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
Data We Collect
- Input URLs: We process the URLs you submit to extract download links. These may be logged temporarily for debugging.
- Diagnostics: Minimal logs (timestamps, IPs, error traces) to troubleshoot and maintain service stability.
- Optional: If you create an API account, we store account details, API keys and billing information as required.
Why We Collect It
To analyze the source, produce download links, protect against abuse, and improve reliability. We only retain data for the minimum time necessary.
Data Retention & Deletion
Temporary processing data is deleted after a short period (hours to days). For account users, account data is retained per account settings. You may request deletion by contacting contact@shadowsaver.site.
Security
We use HTTPS, encrypt sensitive data at rest when necessary, enforce least-privilege access controls, and follow security best practices. However, no internet service is 100% secure.
Third Parties
We do not sell personal data. We may use third-party services for analytics, payments, and hosting. These services have their own privacy practices.
Cookies & Tracking
By default, the web downloader uses minimal cookies (session) if required. You can opt-out of analytics where presented. We do not perform cross-site profiling.
